Five concentration analysers at Yeosu Plant of Hanwha Chemical

DS Linetech sold three model 9695 and two model 8500 concentration analysers to Hanwha Chemical in September 2016. Hanwha Chemical, who is a global player in the chemical industry, is successfully using the five analysers to measure the concentrations of Brine, Caustic Soda and Sulfuric Acid.
The customer has applied the analysers in different processes at their production plant Yeosu in Korea. The two models of the 8500 series are utilized for the measurement of Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4). The concentration H2SO4 is measured by means of ultrasound technology using an UMP probe. The ultrasonic probes are deployed in a process with a measurement range of 50 to 90 wt% and a temperature between 20℃ and 40℃. The other analysers are from the Rhosonics 9600 series. Two model 9695 slurry concentration analysers are deployed by Hanwha Chemical for the measurement of Brine (NaCl) in a range of 10 to 30 wt%. Both analysers are installed using UFTW wafers which are clamped between two flanges. The fifth analyser, which is also a model 9695, is used by the customer to measure Caustic Soda (NaOH) in a range of 20 to 40 wt%. The model 9695 makes use of the acoustic impedance to determine the concentration of the chemical solution.
